My Top Picks for Amazon Prime Day

I use Amazon all.the.time.  From household essentials like Magic Erasers and Command Strips to books and bakeware, I love the ease of ordering and the free, fast delivery is a no-brainer for our family.  Our Prime membership makes it even easier to order and I am excited to share some of my top recommendations to invest in this Prime Day!

My number one most-used item in our kitchen is my KitchenAid Mixer.  Since I bake all the time, it's one of my favorite things in the world!  It also is a dream as far as decor goes - I have the Watermelon color.  Whether you like to cook or bake, this is an essential that is worth the investment.

Mama Camel got me a weighted blanket several months ago and I can't even describe the difference I feel when I use it versus when I don't.  I sleep with it every night, unless I'm traveling, and I wake up feeling better rested and more refreshed.  I have the 15 pound twin size blanket but am planning to buy another in the queen size so Q will stop trying to steal it!  

My favorite slip on sneakers are on sale this week - I am planning to grab them in another color while they're at a discount!  They fit true to size, require no time to "break in," and are so comfortable for days in the city or traveling.

We have a Roku in our living room and absolutely love it!  It's compatible with our Alexa device, so I can literally tell her to "play Grey's Anatomy," if I want to.  The Roku system is super-simple (I'm not techy when it comes to tv stuff and I can operate it with no problems) and the custom options make it really fun to use.  Highly recommend - and it's on sale during the Prime Day event!  

When I first got into baking, Sally's Baking Addiction was the first blog I really followed to learn and try new recipes.  Over the years, I have learned so much from her, and hers was the first cookbook I invested in!  It's a little worn now, but still one I go back to time and time again for favorites and classic cookie recipes.  It is on sale this week and if you enjoy baking, it's a must-have on your bookshelf.  

The Cricut Explore Air 2 is the vinyl machine I purchased earlier this year and it's on sale for $100 off during Prime Day!  If you enjoy crafting and DIY, now is the time to grab one... it would also make a great Christmas gift.  I have the mint color! 

For college students and business owners, I can't recommend an external hard drive enough.  Having your files backed up and in one (portable) place is so helpful and will put your mind at ease whether you're saving design files or term papers.  This is the one I use and I love it!  

The number-one time saver and game changer for my business from Amazon has been the Dymo 4XL Label Printer.  My only wish is that I'd gotten one sooner!  If you are a business owner and ship physical products, this is a must-have item... and it's almost $100 off this week!  I use mine literally every day and it has shaved hours off of my time spent packing orders.  Can't recommend enough!

Of course, I couldn't let this post end without sharing my favorite Revlon One Step hair styler - you knew it was coming, didn't you?!  I have shared about this device endlessly and still really love it.  Whether you have short hair or longer hair, it's so easy to use and takes away the need to blow-dry and THEN straighten your hair.  I usually "rough dry" my hair to about 80% dry and then use this to finish up and smooth everything.  It leaves me with a salon-quality style that costs less than $60!  It's on sale during Prime Day and friend, you need it.
